1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the platform function correctly, remain secure, remember preferences, and understand how Dotify is used.
Some cookies may be associated with account or session information, which is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
2. Why We Use Cookies
Dotify uses cookies to:

- Support marketplace interactions between Buyers and Sellers
- Measure platform usage and performance (with consent)
- Improve relevance of marketplace features
Cookies are not used to directly sell personal data.
3. Types of Cookies We Use

- Feature usage
- Interaction flows
This data is pseudonymized and used only to improve Dotify.
Legal basis: Consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a))
Marketplace & Lead Interaction Cookies
Dotify uses cookies to support marketplace interactions, including lead generation flows between Buyers and Sellers.
These cookies help:
- Remember that a user requested contact, demo, or quote
- Prevent duplicate or fraudulent lead submissions
- Attribute lead requests to the correct company account
When a user explicitly requests contact or opts in to be contacted, Dotify may share the user’s name, company, and work email with the selected Seller to fulfill that request, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Cookies themselves do not transfer personal data to Sellers; they only support the technical flow.
Legal basis: Contract performance (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b))
4. Use of Business Emails as Leads
Dotify is a B2B marketplace.
When users interact with Sellers, business contact details may be used as qualified leads under the following conditions:
- The user explicitly initiates the interaction (e.g. “Request demo”, “Contact seller”), or
- The user explicitly opts in to share their business contact details with Sellers
Dotify does not allow Sellers to receive personal data through cookies alone, and does not share personal emails without a clear user action or opt-in.
Full details are described in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
5. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies may be set by trusted third-party service providers (e.g. hosting, analytics, security).
These providers act as data processors under GDPR and process data only on our instructions.
Dotify does not permit third parties to use cookies for independent marketing or resale of user data.
6. Managing Cookie Preferences
You can manage cookie preferences at any time by:
- Using the cookie banner or cookie settings on the platform

Disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of Dotify from functioning correctly.
